Terms and Conditions
Introduction
Welcome to ViktorSaghy.co.uk (the “Site”), a website operated by Viktor Sághy Coaching. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our Site and our services, including 1:1 transformational leadership coaching, group programs (such as Innate Men and Innate Business), retreats, and all content provided on the Site. By accessing the Site or engaging in our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site and services. We are committed to clear and transparent terms – if you have any questions about these Terms, contact us before making any booking or purchase.
We are based in the United Kingdom and strive to comply with all relevant UK and EU consumer protection laws. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer. In addition to these Terms, please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we protect your personal data and privacy.
Booking and Payment Terms
Service Booking: When you choose to enroll in a coaching package, join a group program, or book a retreat with us, you will typically need to complete a booking form or registration process. All bookings are subject to our acceptance. A contract between you and us is formed once we confirm your booking in writing (e.g. via confirmation email) or begin providing the service, whichever occurs first (Coaching terms and conditions – Striving for Simple). We reserve the right to decline a booking or order before it is confirmed (for example, if a program is full or if we feel the service is not a good fit for you).
Payment of Fees: All fees for coaching services, programs, and retreats will be clearly communicated to you either on the Site or during the booking process. Payments are due as indicated (for example, an invoice might require upfront payment for a coaching package, or a deposit plus balance for a retreat). Unless otherwise agreed in writing, full payment is required in advance to secure your spot or booking (Coaching terms and conditions – Striving for Simple) (Coaching terms and conditions – Striving for Simple). In some cases, we may offer an installment plan for certain programs; if so, this will be stated and may include a small additional fee for the convenience of paying over time (Coaching terms and conditions – Striving for Simple). If paying by installments, you must pay each installment on time. Failure to pay an installment when due may result in the entire remaining balance becoming due immediately (Coaching terms and conditions – Striving for Simple) or your access to the program being suspended or terminated.
Currencies and Taxes: Our prices are typically listed in GBP (£), and payments must be made in this currency unless otherwise stated. If you are paying from outside the UK, your bank or card provider may charge currency conversion fees or other charges, which are your responsibility. All prices are inclusive of any applicable taxes (VAT) unless stated. If VAT or any similar tax is later determined to apply to your purchase and was not charged, we reserve the right to collect it from you.
Late or Failed Payments: If any payment is not received by the due date, we may suspend providing the services until payment is caught up. In the case of significantly late payments, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable interest on the overdue sum (for example, interest at 4% per annum above the Bank of England base rate) (Coaching terms and conditions – Striving for Simple). We will always contact you with a reminder and a reasonable grace period before applying any late payment charges. Any fees associated with debt collection (if truly necessary) may be added to the amount due, within legal limits.
Booking by Third Parties: If an organization or third party is paying for your coaching (for instance, your employer sponsoring a leadership program), that party must also abide by these Terms. However, you as the participant are still bound by confidentiality and conduct rules herein. We may require written confirmation from the third party that they will be responsible for payment. Once a booking is confirmed, it is personal to you and not transferable to others except as permitted under these Terms (e.g. transferring a retreat booking with consent).
Service Delivery: We will deliver coaching sessions and programs as described on our Site or in our communications with you. We commit to providing our services with reasonable care and skill, in line with good industry practice and your consumer rights (Coaching terms and conditions – Striving for Simple). Coaching sessions are typically conducted via video call or telephone unless agreed otherwise. In-person sessions (if offered) or on-site workshops might incur additional travel or venue costs, which will be agreed upon in advance. We will make every effort to carry out sessions and programs on the scheduled dates and times. However, please note that on rare occasions, events beyond our control (e.g. illness, technical issues, or other emergencies) may require us to reschedule. In such cases, we will notify you as soon as possible and arrange a new date or an alternative solution that works for everyone.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
14-Day Cooling-Off (Consumer Right to Cancel): If you are booking our services as a consumer (i.e., an individual acting outside of your business), you have a legal right to cancel your contract within 14 days of entering into it, without giving any reason, for most types of services (Coaching terms and conditions – Striving for Simple). This 14-day “cooling-off period” begins from the day after we confirm your booking or contract. To cancel under this provision, you must send us a clear written notice (e.g. an email) within the 14-day period. We will then refund any payments you made for the services within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice, using the same payment method you used, unless you request otherwise.
Waiver of Cooling-Off for Early Commencement: If you agree to or request that we begin providing the coaching services before the 14-day cancellation period has expired (for example, you schedule a coaching session during the first 14 days after booking), then you acknowledge that you will lose your right to cancel once the service has been fully performed. If the service has been partly performed and you then cancel, we may charge you for the proportion of services provided up to the point of cancellation (Coaching terms and conditions – Striving for Simple). (In practical terms: if you start using our coaching sessions during the cooling-off period, you can no longer cancel for a full refund after the session is delivered, as the service has begun with your consent.)
Exclusions for Date-Specific Services (Retreats): Please note that if you book a retreat or another service that is scheduled for a specific date or period, the usual 14-day cooling-off right may not apply. Under UK consumer law, services related to leisure activities on set dates (such as retreats or events on specific dates) are exempt from the statutory right to cancel (Consumer contract regulations | MyLawyer). This means once we confirm your place in a dated retreat, you do not have an automatic right to cancel 14 days afterward and receive a refund. Our retreat-specific cancellation terms (below) will instead apply to such bookings.
Cancellation by You (Coaching & Programs): After the 14-day cooling period (if applicable) has passed, our general policy is that fees for coaching sessions or group programs are non-refundable once the program or coaching package has started, except at our discretion or as required by law (Coaching terms and conditions – Striving for Simple). This is because your payment often covers a program as a whole, not just individual sessions, and we invest time in preparation and hold your spot for the entire duration (Coaching terms and conditions – Striving for Simple). If you decide to withdraw from a coaching program or package after it has begun, or if you do not attend some of the sessions, you will not be entitled to a refund for those unused sessions. However, in genuine cases of hardship or emergency, please talk to us – we may offer solutions such as credit for future sessions or partial refunds on a goodwill basis, but this is not guaranteed.
Rescheduling Individual Sessions: We understand that sometimes you may need to reschedule a one-on-one coaching session. If you need to cancel or reschedule a scheduled coaching session, please give us at least 24-48 hours notice (as specified in your coaching agreement). If you provide sufficient advance notice, we will do our best to find a new suitable time for you. If you cancel a session on very short notice (less than 24 hours) or fail to attend a session without notice, that session may be counted as completed and non-refundable (Coaching terms and conditions – Striving for Simple). We will be unable to reschedule or refund missed sessions in such cases, out of respect for the coach’s time and scheduling commitments. (Exceptional circumstances will be considered – for example, sudden illness or emergencies – but this is at our discretion.) Similarly, for group program sessions, we cannot provide make-up sessions or refunds if you miss a group call or class, but we may provide materials or recordings when available to help you catch up.
Cancellation by You (Retreats): For retreats, due to the advanced planning and upfront costs involved, we have a stricter cancellation policy:
If you cancel a retreat booking more than 60 days before the retreat start date, you may request a partial refund. In this case, we will refund any amount you have paid minus the non-refundable deposit or a cancellation fee equivalent to the deposit amount (Retreat Policy, Terms and Conditions for Soul and Trail Running Retreats). (The deposit is needed to cover our costs and commitments to third parties in preparation for the retreat.)
If you cancel less than 60 days before the retreat start date, no refund will be issued for the retreat fees (Retreat Policy, Terms and Conditions for Soul and Trail Running Retreats). This is because it becomes very difficult to fill your spot on short notice and we will have incurred most of the retreat costs by that time. However, we may allow you to transfer your booking to someone else you nominate, with our prior written approval, provided that the substitute participant agrees to these Terms and any trip requirements.
No refunds or credits will be given for failure to attend or if you arrive late or leave early during the retreat. We strongly recommend you purchase travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances that might prevent you from attending or require you to cancel.
Cancellation or Changes by Us: In the unlikely event that we have to cancel or significantly alter a service you’ve booked (for example, we need to cancel a retreat due to low enrollment or other serious issue, or cancel a coaching program session due to coach illness), we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you options. If we cancel an entire program or retreat, you will be entitled to a full refund of any payments you have made for that event (or a pro-rata refund if the program had started and some sessions were delivered) (Coaching terms and conditions – Striving for Simple). If only a single coaching session is affected, we will reschedule it with you at no extra cost; if we cannot reschedule, we will refund that session’s fee. For retreats, if we must cancel the retreat, our liability is limited to refunding the retreat fees you paid to us – we cannot be responsible for other costs you incurred (such as airfare or hotel bookings), so again, travel insurance is advised. If we need to change the venue or schedule of a retreat (for example, due to venue issues or safety concerns), we will strive to provide an alternative of equal value and notify you promptly; no refund will be due if the retreat is still provided, except if the change is a material alteration of the experience (in which case you may choose to cancel for a refund).
Termination for Misconduct: We reserve the right to terminate your participation in a coaching program, group, or retreat if you violate the code of conduct or confidentiality terms, or for other serious breaches of these Terms. In such case, we will provide warning when feasible, but if the behavior warrants immediate removal (for example, harassment of other participants), we may end your participation without a refund. (See “Participant Conduct” below for expectations.)
Participant Conduct and Expectations
Respectful Behavior: We are dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive environment for all clients and participants. Whether you are in a one-on-one session, a group coaching call, or an in-person retreat, you are expected to behave respectfully and professionally toward Viktor (your coach) and any fellow participants. This means no harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct. Communication should be courteous and constructive. For group programs and retreats, please follow any group guidelines or ground rules set by the coach.
Confidential Group Space: Especially in group programs like Innate Men or Innate Business, and during retreats, participants may share personal or sensitive information. You must keep everything shared by others confidential (see the Confidentiality section for details) (Coaching terms and conditions – Striving for Simple). Do not disclose stories, names, or any identifying details of fellow participants to anyone outside the group. This creates a trusted space for everyone.
No Disruption: You agree not to disrupt sessions or retreats. This includes refraining from excessive interruptions during group calls, not attending under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and generally not engaging in behavior that impedes the learning or comfort of others. We reserve the right to mute, excuse from a session, or in serious cases remove from the program any participant who is disruptive or violating these conduct standards, to ensure a positive experience for the rest of the group (9 Key Terms to Include in Your Group Coaching Terms of Use — Iluma Law Firm) (9 Key Terms to Include in Your Group Coaching Terms of Use — Iluma Law Firm).
Following Instructions and Safety: For any retreat or in-person event, you must follow all reasonable instructions regarding safety and schedule. If we are engaging in any activities (for example, a physical exercise, outdoor team-building, etc.), follow the guidance given by Viktor or any facilitator. You are responsible for your own health and well-being during our programs; if you have any medical or mental health conditions that could affect your participation, please inform us in advance. We may ask you to refrain from certain activities if we believe it’s in your best interest safety-wise. You should not knowingly put yourself or others at risk. If you choose to engage in any optional activities during a retreat (like hiking on free time, etc.), you do so at your own risk.
Consequences: If you violate the above conduct expectations, we will normally give a warning and an opportunity to correct your behavior. However, for serious or repeated violations, we reserve the right to terminate your participation without further notice. In such a case, you will not receive a refund for any remaining sessions or portion of the program/retreat (as this would be a breach on your part). Additionally, you may be barred from future programs. We truly hope never to enforce this – it’s there to protect all participants and maintain a supportive environment (9 Key Terms to Include in Your Group Coaching Terms of Use — Iluma Law Firm) (9 Key Terms to Include in Your Group Coaching Terms of Use — Iluma Law Firm).
Intellectual Property Rights
All content on the Site and provided through our services is owned by Viktor Sághy Coaching (or our licensors) and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. This includes (but is not limited to) the website text, images, graphics, logos, blog articles, videos, podcasts, program materials, workbooks, slide decks, and any proprietary curriculum for Innate Men, Innate Business, Innate Retreat, or other programs. We retain all rights, title, and interest in this content and do not transfer any ownership to you by virtue of your use of the Site or enrollment in a program (Website terms of use – Striving for Simple).
Personal Use License: When you enroll in a coaching program or retreat, we may provide you with certain materials (for example, worksheets, reading lists, or other resources). We grant you a limited, non-transferable license to use those materials for your personal development and reference only. You may not copy, share, distribute, or exploit our materials for any commercial purpose or share them with others who are not enrolled (Coaching terms and conditions – Striving for Simple) (9 Key Terms to Include in Your Group Coaching Terms of Use — Iluma Law Firm). For instance, you shouldn’t scan and email a workbook to a friend, post our course videos publicly, or use our content to run your own workshop without permission. Similarly, the blog posts and articles on our Site are provided for your personal reading and inspiration – you may share links to them or quote brief excerpts with attribution, but you may not republish an entire article without our written consent.
No Reproduction or Derivative Works: Except as expressly allowed by us, you agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or create derivative works from any portion of our content or services. This includes refraining from recording coaching sessions (unless we mutually agree) or taking extensive verbatim notes of program content with the aim of publishing or teaching it elsewhere. If a session or webinar is recorded and provided to you, it is for your personal review only and remains our intellectual property.
Trademarks: The business name “Viktor Sághy Coaching”, the program names “Innate Men”, “Innate Business”, and any logos or slogans displayed on the Site or in our materials may be trademarks belonging to us. You are not permitted to use these trademarks without our prior approval. All other trademarks on the Site that are not owned by us are the property of their respective owners (for example, any client logos in testimonials or partners’ names) and are used with permission; you must not use those either.
Intellectual Property of User Submissions: If we ever invite you to contribute content (for example, writing a guest blog, providing a testimonial, or participating in group forum discussions on the Site), you should only submit content that you have the rights to share. By submitting any content to us or on the Site, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that content on our website and marketing materials. For example, if you send us a testimonial email and give us permission to post it, we may edit it for length or clarity and then publish it along with your first name and last initial (or other agreed attribution). We will not misrepresent your content or use it in a context you didn’t intend. You remain the owner of any intellectual property you already have; this license is just so we can use the material you provided. If you believe any content on our Site infringes your intellectual property rights, please notify us immediately so we can investigate and remove it if necessary (see our contact information on the Site).
Confidentiality and Privacy
Confidential Coaching Relationship: We understand that trust is the foundation of coaching. Any personal or business information that you share with us in the course of 1:1 coaching or in group sessions will be kept strictly confidential. We commit that we will not disclose your name, details, or any specific information you share to any third party without your consent (PMO Coaching & Mentoring Terms - PMO Learning). The only exceptions are if we are required by law to divulge information or if we have a good-faith belief that disclosure is necessary to prevent harm – for instance, if you reveal intentions to harm yourself or others, or in cases of ongoing abuse or a court order. In such rare cases, we would limit the disclosure to only what is necessary (for example, to law enforcement or mental health professionals).
Group Coaching Confidentiality: If you participate in group coaching programs or retreats, you are also bound by confidentiality with regard to information shared by other participants. What is shared in the group (personal stories, business strategies, feelings, etc.) must stay within the group (Coaching terms and conditions – Striving for Simple). You agree not to disclose any participant’s identity or personal details outside the session, nor will you use another participant’s information for your benefit without explicit permission from that person (Coaching terms and conditions – Striving for Simple). This mutual confidentiality creates a safe space for open discussion. We also ask that you respect the coach’s materials and proprietary processes as confidential (as covered in the Intellectual Property section).
Testimonials and Privacy: If you provide us with a testimonial or case study, we will seek your permission to use your name, photo, or results in our marketing. We will never divulge confidential details from your coaching without consent. Testimonials are typically voluntary and only published with agreement on how your information will be presented. If at any time you want us to remove your testimonial from our site, we will honor that request.
Privacy Policy: We are committed to protecting your personal data. Our [Privacy Policy](https://chatgpt.com/c/${''%7Dprivacy-policy) (see the Privacy Policy link on our Site) explains what data we collect from you (such as your contact details, intake forms, etc.), how we use it, and your rights. In summary, any personal information you provide to us will be handled in accordance with UK data protection law and, where applicable, EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) standards (Privacy Policy – Striving for Simple). We will use your data to deliver services to you, process payments, and communicate with you about your sessions or our offerings (Coaching terms and conditions – Striving for Simple). We may also send you occasional updates about our services or free content, but you can opt out of marketing communications at any time. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data, but please understand that no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed 100% secure. For details, refer to the full Privacy Policy.
Participant Obligations for Privacy: You should also do your part to protect privacy. For example, if you join a confidential coaching call in a group, try to be in a private space so others cannot overhear sensitive group discussions. Do not record sessions (video or audio) without permission. If we use shared online platforms (like a private Facebook group or Slack channel for program members), use discretion when posting personal details. We moderate such spaces but cannot absolutely control what others might do; by the same token, all members are expected to honor confidentiality. If you ever suspect a breach of confidentiality or privacy, please report it to us so we can address it.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Nature of Coaching – No Guaranteed Outcomes: Coaching and personal development services are by nature collaborative and individually driven. While we are fully committed to supporting you, we do not guarantee any particular results or outcomes from our coaching, programs, or retreats (Coaching terms and conditions – Striving for Simple). The success of coaching depends largely on your commitment, effort, and personal circumstances. Testimonials on our Site or success stories from other clients are examples of individual experiences and are not promises that you will achieve the same results (Testimonial Disclaimer: Guide, Free Template and Examples). You acknowledge that coaching is not therapy, counseling, or a substitute for professional mental health care (Coaching terms and conditions – Striving for Simple). If you have issues that are outside the scope of coaching, we may recommend you seek appropriate professional support. Any actions you choose to take as a result of coaching are your own responsibility. You agree that you are solely responsible for your decisions, actions, and results, and you will not attempt to hold us liable for any outcomes – positive or negative – that you experience from our services (PMO Coaching & Mentoring Terms - PMO Learning).
No Professional Advice: The content on our Site (including blog posts) and any guidance given during coaching is for general informational and educational purposes. Although Viktor draws on extensive experience in leadership and personal development, he is not providing legal, financial, medical, or psychological advice. For example, any business coaching guidance is not a guarantee of business success or financial gain; any discussion of personal issues is not a therapy session. Always consult a qualified professional for advice pertaining to areas like accounting, legal matters, serious psychological conditions, or medical decisions. You acknowledge that any reliance on the information or advice provided by us is at your own risk (Website terms of use – Striving for Simple).
Availability and Technical Disclaimer: We strive to keep our Site up and running smoothly and to conduct sessions on schedule. However, we do not warrant that the Site will be available 100% of the time or that it will be free from errors or omissions (Website terms of use – Striving for Simple). Occasionally, technical issues (such as internet outages or platform downtime) might interrupt the Site or a video session. We will work to resolve any interruptions as quickly as possible, but we can’t be held liable for delays or losses caused by technical problems beyond our control. Similarly, while we try to ensure the information on the Site is accurate and up to date, there may be rare typographical errors or outdated information, and we make no guarantees of completeness or accuracy. You use the Site on an “as is” basis.
Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, we (Viktor Sághy Coaching and any associates, employees, or contractors) will not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential loss arising out of or in connection with your use of our services or Site. In particular, we are not responsible for any loss of profit, loss of business opportunity, business interruption, or loss of data that may occur in relation to your use of our coaching or programs (Coaching terms and conditions – Striving for Simple). Our liability for any claim arising from these services (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) is limited to the amount you have paid us for the service in question (Coaching terms and conditions – Striving for Simple). For example, if you paid for a 3-month coaching program, and something we did caused you loss, our maximum liability would be no more than the fee you paid for that program.
In no event will we be liable for damages for pure economic loss or expectation damages from coaching (such as “I expected to get a promotion after coaching but didn’t, and so I lost potential income” – we cannot accept liability for that type of situation). You agree that these limitations on liability are reasonable given the nature of the services.
No Liability for User Actions: We are not liable for any actions you take during or after our coaching relationship. You have sole responsibility for implementing any suggestions or insights from coaching, and you assume full responsibility for any consequences of your decisions (PMO Coaching & Mentoring Terms - PMO Learning). If we explore mindset shifts or business strategies in a session, you must use your own judgment (and perhaps seek third-party advice) before making significant life or business changes.
Specific Liability Exceptions: We do not exclude or limit liability for certain serious matters, as we are not allowed to by law. Nothing in these Terms will exclude or limit our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (Coaching terms and conditions – Striving for Simple). Additionally, if you are a consumer, you may have specific legal rights (e.g. under consumer protection laws) that these Terms cannot override – again, nothing here is meant to limit your statutory rights.
Third-Party Suppliers and Insurance: If a retreat involves third-party suppliers (such as hotels, transportation providers, or activity instructors), our liability for the actions of those third parties is generally subject to the terms and conditions of those suppliers. We are not directly responsible for services or incidents under the control of third parties, but we will of course coordinate and do our due diligence to ensure a safe and high-quality experience. We strongly encourage you to have appropriate insurance for any in-person events or retreats (travel insurance, health insurance) because we cannot cover losses that are outside our control (for example, illness, flight cancellations, natural disasters, etc., that might affect your trip).
Indemnification: While we don’t expect issues, by using our Site or services you agree that if your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms causes us damage or results in a legal claim against us by someone else, you will indemnify (reimburse) us for any expenses or losses incurred (including reasonable legal fees). This would apply, for example, if you knowingly posted defamatory content on our blog that caused someone to sue us, or if you breached confidentiality and it caused a dispute.
Website Use and Content Guidelines
By accessing and using ViktorSaghy.co.uk, you agree to the following acceptable use guidelines and terms for website content:
Acceptable Use Policy: You may use the Site for lawful purposes only and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:
Use the Site in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation, or for any fraudulent or harmful purpose (Website terms of use – Striving for Simple).
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or servers (no hacking, password “mining,” or any other illegitimate access).
Introduce any viruses, malware, or other technologically harmful material into the Site (Website terms of use – Striving for Simple). You should also ensure your own devices have up-to-date antivirus protection when using our Site.
Use the Site to transmit or send unsolicited advertising or spam material (Website terms of use – Striving for Simple).
Engage in data mining, scraping, or copying of content on the Site beyond normal browsing (for example, don’t use bots to copy our blog posts in bulk).
Impersonate the Viktor Sághy site or misrepresent your affiliation with us. You also agree not to create any derivative websites or materials that might confuse others that they are official or endorsed by us, without permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Site if you violate the above rules or engage in any behavior that we, in our reasonable judgment, deem harmful or inappropriate (Website terms of use – Striving for Simple) (Website terms of use – Striving for Simple). We may also take legal action if necessary, particularly in cases of abuse, fraud, or attacks on our systems.
Testimonials Disclaimer: The testimonials and endorsements displayed on our Site are authentic experiences of real clients. However, they are individual results. Results will vary from person to person, and these testimonials are not intended as a guarantee that anyone else will achieve the same outcomes (Testimonial Disclaimer: Guide, Free Template and Examples). Success in coaching depends on many factors unique to each client. We encourage you to use testimonials as an indication of what’s possible, not as a promise of what will happen in your case. Also note, where required, some identifying details in testimonials may be changed or abbreviated to maintain client confidentiality (e.g., using initials or industry instead of full names, if the client prefers privacy). Any statements about the nature of our services or their efficacy are reflective of those clients’ opinions and should not be taken as objective claims. We make no assurances that our services will meet any specific standard beyond what is described in our program materials and our commitment to professional effort.
Sharing and Linking to Our Content: We appreciate users spreading the word about our content in a fair manner. You are welcome to share public content from our Site (such as blog posts or public pages) by posting links on social media, messaging, or email. If you do so, please ensure that ViktorSaghy.co.uk is clearly credited. If you quote a snippet or paraphrase something from our content, include attribution to Viktor Sághy or a link to the original page. Please do not copy and repost full articles or large portions of our content on another website or platform without our explicit permission, as that may violate our copyright. Linking to our Site: You may link to our homepage or other public pages provided that you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take content out of context. Do not present the link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval, or endorsement on our part where none exists. For example, you shouldn’t link to our site in a manner that implies we are partners with or endorsing your own business without an agreement. We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission if we request. Framing our site within another site is not allowed without permission (i.e., you cannot load our website inside a “frame” on another site).
Third-Party Links: Our Site may occasionally contain links to third-party websites (for example, a link to a partner’s site, a book recommendation, or a resource in a blog post). These links are provided for convenience or reference only. We do not have control over the content or practices of those external websites and thus cannot accept responsibility for them (Website terms of use – Striving for Simple). Clicking those links is at your discretion; we recommend you review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit. A link from our Site to another site does not imply our endorsement of that external site’s content, services, or its owner.
User-Generated Content: If our Site allows you to comment on blog posts or submit content in any forum (currently, our blog may or may not have a comment section – if it does, this applies), you agree to post only appropriate, respectful content. Do not post anything defamatory, obscene, abusive, or illegal. We reserve the right to moderate, edit, or remove any user-submitted content on our Site that we find violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, and to ban users who repeatedly violate content rules. By submitting any comment or content, you affirm that you have the right to post it and you grant us the right to use it on our Site. We are not responsible for any statements or opinions posted by other users; those are solely the views of the users. If you believe another user’s content is infringing or in violation of laws or these Terms, please notify us.
Downloading Content: If we provide any downloadable resources on our Site (for example, a free PDF guide), those are for your personal use. You must not remove any copyright or attribution notices from the downloads. You download at your own risk; while we ensure our files are safe, we are not liable for any damage to your device or data from downloading or using files from our Site, assuming we haven’t breached our duty of care.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Agreement and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, United Kingdom (Coaching terms and conditions – Striving for Simple). By using our services, you are explicitly agreeing that any legal issues will be resolved under UK law. If you are a consumer residing in another country, you may also be entitled to the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence; these Terms will be interpreted to give effect to those protections where applicable, but in all other respects, the laws of England and Wales apply.
If a dispute arises between you and us, we strongly encourage you to contact us first and seek a resolution informally. We are committed to addressing any concerns through good-faith discussions. In the unlikely event that we cannot resolve a dispute amicably, you and we agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim (except that if you are a consumer residing elsewhere in the UK (e.g. Scotland or Northern Ireland) or in the EU, you may additionally choose to bring proceedings in your local courts) (Coaching terms and conditions – Striving for Simple).
As an online service provider, we also draw your attention to the EU’s Online Dispute Resolution platform (if you are an EU resident), which can be found at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. This is a portal to facilitate dispute resolution for online transactions. However, please note we are not obligated to resolve disputes via this platform; it is an informational reference for you. We prefer to resolve issues directly.
Accessibility and Changes to These Terms
We aim to write our Terms in plain language. If anything is unclear, please reach out for clarification. These Terms are available on our website at any time, and you can save or print a copy for your records. If we need to make material changes to these Terms (for example, to reflect changes in the law or new services we offer), we will update this page and change the “Last Updated” date at the bottom. For significant changes, we may also notify active clients via email or a notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site or our services after changes have been posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms. If you do not agree to changes, you should stop using the Site and services and, if applicable, may cancel any upcoming bookings as per the cancellation policy.
Contact Information
Viktor Sághy Coaching is committed to customer satisfaction and ethical practice.
